The Isimba Hydroelectric Power Station is a 183.2 MW run-of-the-river plant on the Victoria Nile, around 4 km downstream of Simba Falls in Kamuli District (close to Kayunga), roughly 50 km from Jinja. The dam and associated structures include a concrete gravity dam, a rock‑fill embankment, spillways, powerhouse, switchyard, and a 42 km double-circuit 132 kV transmission line linking to Bujagali substation.
GETLAB was contracted to conduct the material testing during the construction to ensure quality and the necessary standards were met.

The Waki Hydropower Project is a run-of-the-river mini-hydropower plant situated on the Waki River, near Butiaba in Masindi District, Western Uganda.
GETLAB was contracted to conduct the geotechnical investigations to aid in proper Foundation Design and stability.
