As part of the US‑funded Transport and Land Compact (approx. US $350 million) launched in May 2024, the
Accelerated Growth Corridor (AGC) aims to reduce transport costs and improve rural connectivity by upgrading key agricultural roads across Malawi.
In June 2023, the consulting firm LEA Associates South Asia was selected to carry out the detailed
design and supervision for the project.
LEA Associates South Asia contracted GETLAB to conduct the geotechnical investigations at the bridge sections of the different roads to access the ground parameters to aid the design process.
